I’ve spent an inspiring week in Sicily at Salemi Ceramics, led by Maia Beyrouti, with 8 incredible ceramicists. We dug, scraped, collected, ground and set fire to materials we found on walks to make test tiles and dream of future projects using all that we have learnt. We ate delicious food, saw some mind blowing architecture and admired the stunning views. I can’t wait to start experimenting.
